Accelerate your move to agentic business applications with Dynamics 365 Activate
Microsoft has introduced Dynamics 365 Activate, an AI-powered tool designed to help partners and customers move to Dynamics 365 — including Business Central — faster, with less manual effort and lower migration risk.
Why Activate exists
Many organizations feel locked into systems customized over years, surrounded by point solutions and complex integrations. Dynamics 365 Activate is informed by hundreds of recent Dynamics 365 migrations and analyzes requirements, generates configurations, and migrates data from source applications.

Starting with Salesforce, public preview
- A public preview is now available for organizations moving from Salesforce to Dynamics 365, with additional ERP and CRM migration scenarios planned.
- The discovery capability profiles an existing CRM environment — data, business processes, customizations, and dependencies — to build a blueprint of what should move, change, or be redesigned.
- In early engagements, Dynamics 365 Activate has processed over six billion data records, helping teams focus migration effort where it matters most.
One implementation experience for three journeys
Microsoft’s vision is a single agentic implementation experience across:
- Start new: go from requirements to a solution designed for how the organization wants to operate.
- Move from a known source: begin with an existing environment (Salesforce first, more sources to follow) and decide what to preserve versus redesign.
- Grow what exists: extend an existing Dynamics 365 deployment with new applications, business processes, or business units without repeating discovery from scratch.
Planned capabilities include agentic mapping and test sampling, natural-language migration guidance, and executive assessment summaries, with ERP-focused capabilities coming later this year.
